The Art of Acknowledgment is an extremely personal story for Tim that is a needed message in this day and hour. It exposes and addresses mental health, bullying, suicide prevention & awareness, and how acknowledging others with the love of Jesus can change and save someone’s life in any given moment.

Jesus has radically saved and transformed Tim’s life, and it’s a miracle for him to be alive today. With that said, the mission for this film is to create and provide a story & film that is authentic, real, relatable, and brings immediate and practical impact to the lives of all who watch it. It has happened to Tim, and he has seen in his personal life - people getting swept under the rug, unacknowledged everywhere we go, and little do we know they could be planning to take their life that night, and one simple act of acknowledgment, and most importantly – authentically sharing the love of Jesus with them could change and save their life and stop them from following through with their plans.

This film was written and created with those exact thoughts in mind of remembrance for the people who are struggling and suffering, and seeking to bring a real, practical answer of hope and encouragement that doesn’t beat around the bush or water it down in anyway.

Take a Look Behind the Scenes

Step behind the scenes of The Art of Acknowledgment and see how every moment was crafted with deep intentionality. Directed by Tim Llewellyn, with Adam Dietrich and Elliott Gilbert II as core producers and creative collaborators, the team used raw, cinematic lighting, carefully chosen locations, and immersive staging to capture the emotional weight and grittiness of a character battling suicidal thoughts.

These behind-the-scenes glimpses reveal the prayerful, artistic, and technical effort that went into telling a story designed to provoke honest conversation, highlight the power of being seen, and ultimately point toward hope.
